♦ As of today, four faculty members from the Physics Department are recognized research guides under whom 19 research students are pursuing research in the aforementioned fields. Additionally, 15 research guides from other colleges are affiliated with this research center, with nearly 53 students undertaking Ph.D. research.
♦ 38 students have been awarded Ph.D. degrees from the Physics Department.
♦ 16 research projects have been successfully completed by the Physics Department.
♦ 19 workshops have been successfully conducted by the department.
♦ A two-day International Conference was organized by the department on January 11–12, 2024. A total of 107 participants registered for the event, with 60 participants submitting papers, alongside 5 poster presentations and 17 oral presentations. The primary aim of the conference was to explore the intersection of physical sciences and the rich heritage of Indian knowledge, focusing on the integration of ancient wisdom with modern scientific knowledge. The conference featured 8 distinguished speakers:

Mr. Shrinivas Sainder, a research student of the Physics Department, won the first prize of 2 Lakhs for his project titled “Automation of Microwave bench by Universal Slotted section using Arduino microcontroller” under the guidance of Dr. Sushant Deshmukh in the Research category at the 16th Avishkar Maharashtra State Inter-University Research Convention 2024, held from January 12–15, 2024.

Dr. Sushant Deshmukh was nominated as a Board of Studies (BOS) member by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, in June 2024.

Dr. Ganesh Agnihotri was nominated as an Academic Council member by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, in June 2024.
♦ Mr. Yogesh Lahmate was nominated as a Board of Studies (BOS) member for R.B.N.B. College, Shrirampur (Autonomous).
♦ Our postgraduate students Mrs. Sheetal Bunde, Mr. Navgire Amol, and Mr. Mande Akshay passed the SET examination in August 2024. Mr. Amit Shinde passed the CSIR-NET examination in October 2022.
♦ Dr. Sushant Deshmukh published the Google book “Atomic, Molecular and LASER Physics” in July 2026.
♦ Dr. Ganesh Agnihotri and Dr. Sunil Indurkar jointly published the book “Physics for UG Students” in January 2025.
