Introduction :

The brief introduction of chhote scientist :

We make use of science in our day to day life. However, we tend to ignore the reasons or logics behind these activities. School students should increase logical and scientific thinking at an early age. Therefore, an initiative to kindle the basic of science amongst school going children with the help of ‘Easy to Make’ & ‘fun to learn’ scientific toys. Accordingly, to increase student’s interest in science, JES College is conducting Chhote Scientists program since last three years in collaboration with Jnana Prabodhini and KPIT, Pune.It is communative and social initiative to bridge the gap between text books knowledge and real life application.

Our History

Inaugration of program

  • KPIT has started chhote scientist program in 2012.
  • JES College has started this program in 2014 as "GYAN SETU " and in 2015 it was reknowned as chhote scientist
  • Each year nearly 1250 students take advantage of chhote scientist program

  • In the starting year Gyan Setu conducted in 24 schools. subsequently number of schools increased from 24 to 26. it has been four years since college is conducting chhote scientist program.
  • JES College students are enthusiastic about the program. It is an opportunity for them to spread their knowledege within school students. The average number of volunteers participating in the program is 60.

  • Abdul kalam was of the view that each of the students should have a scientific knowledge, so on the ocassion of his birthday this chhote scientist program was conducted in different schools to improve scientific knownledge of students .
